A fun poem


I like to have my kids memorize poetry. I am enjoying working with Levi on "The Cremation of Sam Magee" by Robert Service.

Hello Camille, Just checking in on your blog again. My Dad, who is now 87, memorized the Cremation of Sam McGee and the Shooting of Dan McGraw many, many years ago. Though he was a bit rusty a few years ago we had him recite as much of it as he could. I have asked my boys to memorize these but no takers yet. Thanks for sharing!! I notice Dad's very old book of Robert Service is by his chair. Aunt Jan
