We learned about solutions and suspensions this week and did a lot of experiments to demonstrate the concepts we were studying including:
1. Making butter from cream.
2. Making mayonnaise (suspension with emulsifier).
3. Dissolving lifesavers in water of different temperatures.
4. Making homemade cola.
5. Making whipped cream from cream.
6. Observing speed at which gas bubbles leave soda pop at room temperature vs refrigerator temperature.
Time to clean up my kitchen now.
