We went to the Portland Trailblazer game tonight thanks to the Multnomah Summer Reading Program. The kids earned free tickets. We found this note attached to our seats.
Our friend, Chuck, from church is the Trailblazer Historian and Archivist. He kindly visited us in the "nose-bleed" section and gave the kids media and game guides. They loved them.
Here is the view from our seats. Unfortunately the team lost by a last second shot by the Orlando Magic. Now my favorite Blazers are Joel Przybilla and Brandon Roy. Ethan's favorite is Marcus Aldridge and Levi's is Steve Blake. Nan likes Brandon Roy (because his favorite TV show as listed in the media guide is "The Rachel Ray Cooking Show"), while Todd cheers for Rudy Fernandez. I was not too impressed with Greg Oden after all the hype... but I guess he is young.
